World Trade Center to Create 30,000 Jobs in Kolkata - A Game-Changer for West Bengal's Economy!

West Bengal has received a new boost to its economy with the announcement that the World Trade Center will be established in Kolkata, creating potential job opportunities for over 30,000 youths and encouraging industrial and commercial investment in the state. The Chief Minister of West Bengal has recently made statements about the creation of 41 lakh jobs and the establishment of this trade center is seen as a positive step towards achieving this goal.

The World Trade Center is a well-known establishment with branches in over 100 countries, including six in India with the seventh soon to be built in Kolkata. The center will be constructed on the land of Navdigant Industrial Township in Newtown, Kolkata, covering an area of 35 lakh square feet with an investment of approximately 1,500 crore rupees.

Despite the positive news, there have been instances of job corruption in the state, resulting in the cancellation of jobs for unqualified candidates. Eligible candidates have protested and gone on hunger strikes, highlighting the government's inability to handle such situations. Some speculate that the announcement of the World Trade Center's establishment is a diversionary tactic to draw attention away from these issues.

However, experts remain optimistic about the potential benefits of the center's establishment, including increased job opportunities for the state. An agreement has been signed between the World Trade Center and Merlin Group on March 21, further solidifying the project's progress. Overall, the establishment of the World Trade Center in Kolkata could bring significant economic benefits to the state and its people.
